Yana Gladkikh is a Russian actress born on February 28, 1991, in Moscow. Though her parents were not involved in the arts, she developed an early interest in acting, initially inspired by her mother, who encouraged her to join a theater club to improve her public speaking skills. Yana's dedication led her to study at the Moscow Art Theater School under notable instructors Dmitry Brusnikin and Roman Kozak. Her acting career began early, with her first role in the film Cruelty (2007). She gained further recognition for her roles in the TV series Stepmother and films such as Moscow Twilight and Heavenly Court. She has also been a part of popular Russian dramas like Rehearsals and Adult Daughters. Yana was married to fellow actor Nikita Efremov, but their marriage ended in divorce after a year. She has remained focused on her career, continuing to appear in both theater and film projects​
